About

The SS 7740 development is performed by the Swedish working group "SIS/TK 240 AG16 Functional Safety in Electronic Systems" supported by an international expert reference group.

SS 7740 extends the Automotive SPICE Process Reference Model and Process Assessment Model with a set of ISO 26262 specific requirements, outcomes, indicators and guidance on performing assessments.

Who is involved ?

The SIS working group includes organisations representing OEMs, Tier 1s, conformity assessment bodies, research organisations and consulting companies all active in the filed of Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.

SS 7740 Purpose

Provide a standardize assessment of functional safety processes, utilising the well established framework of process capability models and measurement frameworks.
Support the implementation of ISO26262 for organizations using Automotive SPICE, both as an OEM, Tier 1 supplier, sub supplier or outsourced organisation.

An integrated approach of process assessment for Automotive SPICE and ISO26262 .
